PRLog (Press Release)– corsa Jul 26, 2011– A new release of the Quadlogic Controls meter management IQ software, called IQ2 (pronounced "I Q Squared"), provides complete multi-tenant meter reading, billing and energy monitoring capability for facility owners and managers. IQ² offers significantly increased functionality and is designed to work with the Quadlogic Scan Transponder data collection unit, which uses Quadlogic patented Power Line Communication (PLC), or with an RS485 network. The new software allows both users and tenants to view energy data from the convenience of their PC, using a standard web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
The new software package utilizes custom energy monitoring software and core programming from Vennexs, a leading provider of energy monitoring and management software systems.
Featuring an intuitive, user-friendly interface, the IQ2 software provides the following functionality:
• Energy consumption and peak demand monitoring for all meters configured in the transponder on a 24x7 basis. Data can be viewed in graphical or report form.
• Bills can be generated, by users or viewed by tenants, for individual meters and consolidated billing reports run for all meters.
• An Admin Mode allows users to assign friendly names to individual meters and select an appropr auto part iate billing module for each.
• Energy consumption data is provided in graphical form on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Also interval demand data can be viewed on a daily basis or peak demand data viewed on a weekly/monthly basis.
• The package is fully customizable for different TOU and billing rates.
